Community Guidelines
Effective date: 29 July 2026
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Version: 2026-07-29
Cruise is a place for people who love cars to connect, show off their garage, and find real events. These guidelines set out what we expect from you in groups, chat, and events, and are incorporated into our Terms and Conditions by reference.
1. Be a good member of the community
When posting in group chat, proposing or attending events, or interacting with other members, don’t post or share content that is:
- Unlawful, abusive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
- Sexually explicit or violent
- Spam, scams, or unsolicited commercial solicitation
- Designed to impersonate another person or organisation
- In violation of any third party’s intellectual property or privacy rights
2. Vehicles and driving
Cruise exists to celebrate cars, not to organise or encourage unlawful driving. Don’t use events, groups, or chat to organise street racing, illegal cruising, or any activity that puts other road users at risk. Organisers are responsible for ensuring the events they propose comply with the law; see Section 5 of our Terms and Conditions for the full organiser responsibilities.
3. Keep vehicle and ownership information honest
Registering vehicles you don’t own or have never owned, or misrepresenting your ownership status, undermines the platform for everyone and is a breach of these guidelines and our Terms.
4. Moderation
- All chat messages are automatically screened for profanity. Messages containing profanity are stored with both the original and a censored version — other members only ever see the censored version.
- Repeat profanity violations are tracked on your profile and may trigger an automatic chat suspension.
- Proposed events are reviewed by our moderation team before publication, and we may reject, unpublish, or edit any event at our discretion.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these guidelines, with a reason given where possible — see Section 3.3 of our Terms and Conditions.
5. Reporting a problem
If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, or you’re the target of it, contact us at cruise@tuners.cafe with as much detail as you can (who, what, when, and screenshots if you have them). We review every report.
6. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines from time to time as the community grows. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and version number at the top of this page.
